“I insist that the object of all true education is not to make men carpenters, it is to make carpenters men.” W.E.B. Du Bois
Now, more so than ever, the thought of taking the necessary steps to ensure a brighter future for the boys and girls currently living in the Jachie and Obo Villages in Lake Bosomtwe District, Kumasi, Ghana, has been on so many minds. Bridge-To-Africa Connection, Inc., and Lake View Foundation has decided to do something about it, and we hope that you can see yourself, working shoulder to shoulder with us, to make a difference in the Senior High School system (which are sustainable) in Ghana – today.
To provide desks in the Senior High School, so that more children can have a designated place to sit and learn.
We’re not asking that you board a jet and fly to West Africa. No. We’re asking that you take a moment of your time, wherever you are around the globe to make a commitment to provide funding to pay for desks, which will provide a place for each student to sit and write/study, at the local High School, in the Jachie and Obo Villages, located in Lake Bosomtwe District, Kumasi, Ghana.
In exchange for making a donation to Bridge-To-Africa Connection, Inc., (BTAC) and Lake View Foundation, for desks for the students attending Senior High School in the Jachie and Obo Villages, in Bosomtwe District, Kumasi, Ghana, we will place your name and or the organization of your choice, on the desk that you purchase.
Please take a moment to consider how you can help to provide desks for the students in the Jachie and Obo Villages in Lake Bosomtwe District, Kumasi, Ghana.
